With the creation of the trust, we wish to address the shortage of technically qualified Previously Disadvantaged Individuals (PDIs) and facilitate technical skills transfer to PDIs by creating an equal opportunity environment between all our employees.
The BVi B-BBEE Employment Trust specifically focuses on skills development.
- The individual must be a “Black” person, as contemplated in the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act, 2013.
- The individual must have a technical qualification from a tertiary institution, which qualification must be relevant to such individual’s employment.
- The individual must be a full-time permanent employee of the company.
