Quality Management
This standard of service is achieved through a multi-disciplined and integrated approach and consists of:
- A Business Management System (BMS), which includes a strong focus on solid business policies, logical processes and innovative procedures.
- A Quality Management System (QMS), which complies with the international ISO 9001:2008 standard and is certified by NQA, an internationally accredited ISO certification company. The QMS is maintained by Business Development Engineering, a quality engineering company, and is accessible to all employees be they in the office or on site, through a Share-Point Server platform and the internet.
- A day-to-day assessment and management of risks related to all relevant industries and projects.
- BVi also strives to continuously improve on these systems by adopting and integrating well-established programmes from world-renowned industry leaders.
In support of Occupational Health and Safety, BVi is in the process of obtaining its OHSAS 18001 (Safety and Health Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) accreditation certificates in addition to our current ISO 9001 (Quality Management) accreditation.
Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA)
BVi Consulting Engineers always takes the environment into consideration when designing buildings and systems. Considerable effort is made to ensure all services are properly integrated onto one platform for optimal and efficient control purposes to prioritise sustainable designs. The BVi Group is a member of the Green Building Council of South Africa and has completed various green star-rated projects.
Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA)
Through the BVi Group’s membership of CESA, we are conforming to the goals and objectives set by the governing body by endorsing professional engineering and management standards, carrying the required professional indemnity insurance, adhering to quality management systems and committing to continuous skills development and training in the industry.
