Purpose of the role:
The HR Administrator will provide efficient administrative and operational support to the HR Regional Manager and HR Team, by executing and delivery HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle. The role is assisting the HR Regional Manager, by coordinating leave administration, assisting with performance management and with applicable Labour Compliance. This role contributes to the effective delivery of HR services while ensuring confidentiality, compliance, and positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forming part of an existing HR Team and report to the HR Regional Manager.
- Assisting with New Employee Onboarding processes.
- Monthly Employee Leave Administration and Reconciliation.
- Timesheet Control
- Administration of Employee Benefits, such as medical aid applications, changes and provident fund administration.
- Responsible for Annual Labour Compliance, such as Employment Equity Reporting, ROE, CETA – WSP & ATR Reporting.
- Assisting HR Regional Manager with probation cycle.
- Assisting HR Regional Manager with performance management executions.
- Ad-hoc HR Tasks
Key Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12
- HR qualification such as a Higher Certificate, Diploma or a related field – Advantageous
- Minimum 8 – 10 years’ relevant Human Resources administration experience.
- Proven experience in independently executing a broad range of HR administrative processes.
- Experience working with leave administration, timesheet control, employee benefits administration.
- Assistance support experience with Labour related compliances, employee probations and performance management.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Must reside in Cape Town
