BVi Consulting Engineers Western Cape (Pty) Ltd was appointed by the South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) to provide Consulting Engineering Services for the periodic maintenance (resurfacing), the upgrade of intersections and the construction of pedestrian culverts of National Route 2 Section 4 from Riviersonderend (km0.0) to Swellendam (km56.9).
The scope of works, as set out in the tender document, is divided into the following distinct phases:
- Detailed assessment
- Detailed design
- Tender documentation
- Site inspection and tender evaluation
- Administration and monitoring of the Works Contract
- Additional duties, special services and specialist advice
