BVi Consulting Engineers was approached to investigate the water supply situation in Loeriesfontein, Northern Cape in May 2013.  The availability of groundwater had been reducing steadily since 2011.

Our scope of works included:

• Develop and equip 9 new boreholes with pumps, switchgear and instrumentation
• Rheeboksfontein Reservoir and Booster Pump Station
• Rheeboksfontein collector pipelines: 12km
• Rising main from Rheeboksfontein to Loeriesfontein – 22km
• Electrical Power supply line from Loeriesfontein to Rheeboksfontein area – 40km
• Loeriesfontein Water Treatment Plant: Aeration, Chlorination, Filtration
• Loeriesfontein Elevated Storage Tank
• Loeriesfontein High Lift Pump Station
• Telemetry System
