Retreat Low Lift Sewer Pump Station for City of Cape Town with 750 l/s peak flow

The Scope includes:

Demolition of Existing sewer pump station

Construction of new reinforced concrete pump station with grit chamber and wet well/dry well configuration up to 9.4m below ground. 

Rehabilitation of 460m of existing 1000mm Ø concrete gravity sewer main with CIPP technology.

Rerouting of 390m of existing 1000mm Ø concrete gravity sewer with new 1050mmØ HDPE lined concrete sewer pipes.

Installation of Mechanical and Electrical equipment including three submersible pumps, two raking screens,  MCC and standby Generator.

Budget –  R 72 000 000 

Duration – 22 months construction
