Geometric Engineer / Technologist

BVi Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd has a vacancy for two (2) Geometric Engineers/Technologists in their Cape Town office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Form part of an existing geometric design office team and reporting to a Project Leader.
• Design: prepare detail design, construction drawings and as-builts drawings for Roads, Platforms and Earthworks.
• Contributing and compiling of Feasibility Reports, Design Reports and Tender Adjudication Reports.
• Contributing to the compiling of Tender Documentation and Technical Specifications.

Key Requirements:

• Must have B. Eng/BSc Eng or B. Tech/Advanced Diploma Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 – 10 years post-graduate experience within a civil / geometric engineering design office. Experience within transportation development and/or mass earthworks would be beneficial.
• Experience in compiling reports for all stages of project implementation and good technical report writing skills.
• Excellent time management, communication, and teamworking skills.
• Proficient in:
  • AutoCad
  • Civil 3D
  • Ms Office Suite
